"If you want proof positive of what a sexist male chauvinist pig Phil Johnson truly is, he actually thinks that women are capable of speaking for themselves. That women don’t need an air-brushed, PC-sensitized maleif “male is the operative word hereto rush in with the smelling salts in case some fainting violet were to swoon at the sight of an old comic book cover. . . .
I assure you that the combined forces of government, the media, and the education establishment are taking coercive measures to weed these Troglodytes out of the general population. But they keep popping up between the cracks like so many dandelions."

What you have [here] is independent Baptist fundamentalism, right down the line, with only a few changes. . . . Go and check up on names like Jerry Falwell, Jerry Vines, John R. Rice and Jack Hyles. You'll understand a lot more about what you're hearing.

Isn't that solar reflector supposed to be used to cook hotdogs at a campout, instead of fry one's face?
Get some rest Phil - though I suspect the hiatus is related to duty - either way, rest in the Lord!
Is this where we start talking about paleontology?
Only as it relates to pterydactils I believe Libbie.
Speaking of which, did you know that Ken Ham and Answers in Genesis is going to be at Phils' church Jan. 6th and 7th?
Last time I saw Ken speak was 4 years ago I'm really looking forward to going!
Is this where we start talking about Smerodactyls again?

-You wouldn't have said that if you understood the ridiculous 300+ comment conversation centering on Smerodactyls that's about to occur before Mr. Johnson returns. :)
Nice photo, but it looks like you got enough sun already! ;-)

Enjoy the break! Thank you so much for your posts, I really do enjoy them and appreciate all the time you put into them.
Your biggest fan at WTS!
Only baby and dwarf pterodactyls were on the ark. John Woodmorappe said so. Really!
Trivia question: Who was it that originally brought up the subject of pterodactyls the last time Pyro took some time off?
Since I have not been reading this blog long, I will ask: What is/are a Smerodactyls?
bluecollar and searaptor-
ask marc heinrich.
This is completely irrelevant to this post, and you may even know this Phil, but I was in Costco the other day with the family and noticed the first season of the Rockford Files was out on glorious DVD. My thoughts went immediately to you.
